Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a well-established insurance company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking a Finance & Accounting Officer to manage core financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing daily accounting tasks, tax compliance, and supporting budgeting and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to management.
- Tax & Compliance: Handle VAT, tax filings, and ensure adherence to all regulatory financial requirements and deadlines.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and facilitate audit processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of local tax regulations and accounting standards.
