Job Description
The ROLE will be responsible for the overall management and optimization of steel production operations. This includes leading the team, implementing strategic plans, and overseeing the construction and launch of a new steel section mill.

Description
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, optimize processes, and ensure efficient production.Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and enhance competitiveness.Team Building: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team focused on achieving operational goals.Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and make data-driven decisions.Project Execution: Lead the erection and commissioning of a new steel section mill, ensuring successful project delivery.
Profile
Proven steel industry experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the steel industry, with at least 5-10 years in a managerial capacity within Steel Medium/Heavy Section mill and steel rails production.Strategic leadership: Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and market position within the steel industry.Operational excellence: Proven ability to optimize production processes, implement lean methodologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a steel manufacturing environment.Financial acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and the ability to analyze financial data to improve profitability.Project management expertise: Proven success in leading complex projects, such as steel mill erection and commissioning, from inception to completion.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial, or related field) is required.Strong knowledge of steel production processes, including hot rolling and cold rolling.Experience in steel rail rolling mill operations with a proven track record of successful leadership.Proven experience in steel section mill erection and commissioning.
