The Management Controller for Inventory and Margin will focus on supporting the Finance team in implementing and maintaining the group's processes to ensure effective management of retail operations and inventory levels.

Description
Collaboration: Partner with the Merchandising team on Preview/Podium processes (preparation, monitoring, analysis).Track leather allocation across retail and wholesale channels.Ensure consistency between reports and stock equations for optimal group-level foreign exchange management. Inventory Management: Maintain and analyze regular and discounted inventory equations.Monitor product movement and returns to optimize discounted sales activities.Analyze results of discounted sales operations.Track inventory aging and provisions.Generate all inventory and margin-related reports.Reconcile inventory data.Control logistics and transportation costs.Participate in Logistics and Supply Chain project assessments. Margin Management: Collaborate on gross margin construction assumptions.Analyze and monitor gross margin performance (actual and forecasted).Evaluate and implement tools to facilitate gross margin tracking.Track and analyze exceptional inventory movements for proper allocation (overhead, margin, etc.). Sales Support: Monitor retail price updates.Partner with the Retail Merchandising team to prepare wholesale budgets. Reporting: Assist the team in timely completion of reports during closing and forecasting periods.Provide backup support to the Regional Management Controller to ensure reporting continuity.Contribute to closing and budget memos.
Profile
At least 5 years of experience in the Finance fieldDegree in finance or accounting (CA or CPA qualification preferred)Experience in a Big 4 company is a plusStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to achieve objectives in a complex/multi-stakeholder environmentExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksProficient in MS Office and financial software
