Will be reporting to the Marine Resident Engineer.
Preparing, monitoring, updating, and revising the construction schedule as necessary.
Monitors the accomplishments at site and analyzes its effect on the project schedule.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule that covers the entirety of the civil engineering design process.
Monitor and report progress, performance, and risks of the project. Additionally, communicate with stakeholders to coordinate and resolve any issues or changes that could affect the schedule.
reviewing project specifications, requirements, and deliverables; defining work breakdown structure, milestones, and dependencies; estimating resources, costs, and durations of each task; creating and updating the project schedule using software tools;
analyzing critical path, float, and slack to identify potential delays or conflicts; tracking and measuring actual progress against the baseline schedule;
Preparing progress reports; updating project schedule to reflect changes in scope or priorities; collaborating with external parties to ensure alignment of the project schedule.
Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
Communicating with RE, QS, and the rest of the team.
Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
Ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budgets.
