A reputable company in Dubai, UAE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the private sector. Also, Expert in using ERP called Microsoft Dynamic Navision (or Microsoft Business Central) & be Expert in Microsoft Excel. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial processes.

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and guidelines.
3. Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
4. Prepare and review budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.
7. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
8. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
9. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
10. Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
3. Extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulation.
5. Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamic Nav & Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
10. Previous experience in the private sector is preferred.
