Overview of the role:

• The Senior gardener is responsible for maintenance of all soft landscaping elements in the private properties including Trees, Palms, Hedges, Ground covers, Seasonal flowers, Grass etc.
• Is responsible for monitoring the irrigation for the soft landscaping.
• Is responsible for constantly upgrading the soft landscaping to enhance customer experience.
• Is responsible to carry out landscape improvement projects.

What you will do:

Responsible for:

• Follow the approved annual maintenance plan for all soft landscape elements.
• Carry out maintenance as per the standard landscape practices using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensure all landscaping is always in excellent condition.
• Predict and plan insect attacks based on season and take appropriate action.
• Manage & adjust irrigation water requirement for each type of soft landscape depending on the season.
• Plan and carry out major renovation during off peak periods.
• Knowledge and skills required to use and maintain powered/non-powered tools and equipment correctly and safely.
• Monitor and Maintain health, safety, and security in the workplace.
• Mowing, scarifying/verti-cutting, aerating, top dressing, and fertilizing turf areas.
• Carry out landscape improvement projects.
