About the Position
HR Manager will oversee the human resources department and insurers of the functions and tasks being carried out by the HR team.
S/He will be responsible for attracting, motivating, and retaining the most qualified talent by directing the administrative functions of the HR department.
S/he will support current and future WATAN needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
HR Manager will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall
WATAN’s strategy
Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or
other issues
Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to
Organization personnel
Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
Nurture a positive working environment
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health
insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
Maintaining affirmative action programs
Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating
procedures, including team restructuring and morale
Maintaining HR department records and reports
Participating in administrative staff meetings
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each
staff member
Act as liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to
ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations.
Essential Requirements for this position:
6-10 years of experience proven working experience as HR manager or Recruitment
Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as Recruitment, pay & benefits,
onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of
the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Fluent in Arabic & English (strong written and verbal skills)
