Job Description

I. Position summary:

This position will play a key role in report preparation and review, covering various intervals to provide comprehensive updates to the HQ manager. Effective communication and coordination with team members and monitoring of weekly work plans, flexibility to handle additional tasks as directed completes the scope of responsibilities for this dynamic role.

II. ROLE PURPOSE: 

He/She will be responsible on the implementation of all project’s activities in Reyhanli and ensure their execution within time and quality. Participate as required in project kick-off, close-out and review meetings. Ensure documentation and follow up of action points in a timely manner.

Follow-up on the implementation of required activities on a daily manner. This includes directing activities, avoiding mistakes, and receiving and submitting projects reports. Communicate and coordinate with the other project team members and follow up the implementation of activities with them. Prepare weekly implementation work plans and follow up the implementation with the field team.

Participate in the offers opening, and procurement committee to evaluate the competing bids and help choose the winning bid. Follow-up on project implementation in collaboration and coordination with other members of the field work team. Verify the received documents and ensure the potential beneficiaries comply with the required standards to benefit from the project. Coordinate payments and raise the necessary purchase requests during the project period. Deal with the required government entities within the project scope, such as municipalities. Submit a handover report at the end of the contract.

IV. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, develop and review the reports to be submitted to HQ manager. These could include daily, weekly, quarterly, progress and final reports.

• Communicate and coordinate with the other project team members and follow up the implementation of activities with them.

• Prepare weekly implementation work plans and follow up the implementation with the field team.

• Participate in the offers opening, and procurement committee to evaluate the competing bids and help choose the winning bid.

• Follow-up on project implementation in collaboration and coordination with other members of the field work team

• Verify the received documents and ensure the potential beneficiaries comply with the required standards to benefit from the project.

• Any other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.

V. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

• Experience working in protection at least 1 years.

• Good communication skills with good written and spoken Turkish, English, and Arabic.

• Turkish Citizenship.

• Verified experience in humanitarian work and principles.

• Verified experience in dealing with donor’s policies, procedures, requirements and compliance.

• Knowledge in project management, project development, report writing, remote management tools, techniques, and Excel & Word.

• He/she must have the following skills, accountability, stakeholder Orientation, teamwork and technological awareness.
