  1. Job Summary


An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Trainer is an educator specializing in preparing individuals for the IELTS examination, a widely recognized test for evaluating English language proficiency. These trainers have a strong mastery of English and are skilled in teaching the necessary abilities for success in the IELTS test, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking.


IELTS Trainers develop tailored lesson plans and teaching resources that target the four key components of the IELTS exam: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. They administer practice tests, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback to help learners enhance their English skills and achieve their desired IELTS scores. These trainers are adept at clarifying complex grammar and vocabulary, as well as teaching effective test-taking strategies.


Beyond instruction, IELTS Trainers often assist students with the IELTS exam registration process, advising on selecting suitable test dates and centers. They stay informed about updates to the IELTS format and scoring criteria to ensure their students are well-prepared.


IELTS Trainers can work in various environments, including language schools, test preparation centers, colleges, universities, and online platforms. They play a vital role in helping individuals reach their academic and career aspirations, such as studying abroad, obtaining professional certifications, or securing employment in English-speaking countries.

  1. Responsibilities & Tasks

Within the given powers, the IELTS Trainers will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Organize classroom lectures and coursework
  • Prepare materials and activities
  • Assign homework and interesting exercises
  • Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans
  • Determine exam and assignment grades
  • Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior
  • Keep a record of students’ attendance and grades
  • Research new language teaching methods
  • Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict
  • Inform parents about their children’s performance
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
  • Participating in regular progress meetings with program staff,
  • Improving the professional capacity of project staff by providing regular in-service training
  • Participation in project planning in collaboration with relevant staff.
  1. General Responsibilities
  • To act actively by adhering to the founding principles and values of our association,
  • Undertake personal personnel development deemed necessary for the development of the task and the individual,
  • Conducting work with a high standard of professionalism,
  • Maintaining regular communication with team members, supervisors and project manager via written and e-mail,
  • Regularly review, adapt and improve project systems and procedures,
  • To support the association's commitment to quality assurance of services, including self-evaluation studies among the target group,
  • Taking proactive responsibility in the fields of Health and Safety, in coordination with the Project Manager,


  1. Required Skills / Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an English teacher
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods
  • Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • A patient and resilient personality
  • Dedication to students and education
  • BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSc is a plus
  • Demonstrating awareness of relevant technological solutions,
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders (if necessary) to meet YSYD's resource needs,
  • Effectively applying expert logistics and purchasing knowledge to source goods and services on time,
  • Working effectively in high-pressure and rapidly changing environments;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with implementing partners,
  • Making correct decisions based on available information,
  • Being flexible and responsive.

      Language Skills: Farsi will be an advantage.


  1. Additional Responsibilities

Depending on their level of skill and experience, the post-task holder may occasionally be required to perform additional reasonable duties.
