Job Description

The HR and Coordination Assistant plays a key role in supporting various human resource functions, including day-to-day HR operations and general administrative tasks related to office management. They will also assist organization staff with program and administrative duties. This position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with different departments to facilitate internal coordination and implement HR policies and procedures.

- Maintain employee records, including personal information and attendance, in both hard and soft copies.

- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring new hires have necessary resources and information.

- Manage staff timesheets for monthly submission.

- Draft correspondence to address inquiries related to administrative activities.

- Update HR-related trackers regularly.

- Ensure timely procurement of office and guest house supplies in accordance with organizational procurement processes.

- Prepare payment requests with necessary documentation for administration expenses.

- Assist in organizing events and employee engagement activities.

- Support special projects and other tasks assigned by HR and Admin Coordinator or senior management.


Other Responsibilities:

- Foster accountability by facilitating communication and information sharing within and outside the organization.

- Promote and ensure compliance with SUW HR policies, including the Code of Conduct and associated policies.

- Undertake other related duties as assigned by the Country Director or Systems Director.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Relevant graduate qualification in Human Resources (e.g., HR Management) or equivalent.

- At least one year of relevant experience with an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO).

- Proficient in English and Turkish (written and spoken).

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) is beneficial.
