The project: MSME-Banking, Youth Finance: The project objective is to improve youth MSMEs’ access to finance. The project will aim to:

• Support youth MSMEs in accessing finance for their sustainable growth,
• Advise PFIs to develop and implement sustainable financial products for youth MSMEs.
• Support youth MSMEs in accessing know-how, non-financial business development services and networking opportunities.

Your tasks: As Project Team Leader you are

• Successfully managing the implementation of MSME lending schemes and complex TA programs at commercial banks
• Negotiating with third parties including banks, associations, ministries, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders on behalf of International Financial Institutions
• Managing a team of international and national senior experts,
• Conducting due diligences of banks credit operations, portfolio and identifying TA needs
• Plan and oversee TA interventions with banks on institutional strengthening for PFIs’ Women in Business (WiB) / Youth in Business (YiB) business model.

Your Profile:

• At least 10 years proven Project Manager experience in managing complex TA programs under donor mandates (EBRD, IFC)
• Proven experience and track-record in the following fields:

       a) MSME-Finance (product and process design, CRM, and credit risk assessment)
       b) Due Diligence of financial institutions incl. analysis of bank’s portfolio, reporting and lending processes
       c) Design and implementation of NFS-programs for WiB / YiB
       d) Budget and Resource Management

• Proven expertise in human and/or institutional capacity building (i.e. advisory roles)
• Ability to manage and develop international teams (onsite and remote)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Business fluency in English and good command of Turkish is essential
