Position: Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our team, contributing to the success of the "Promoting Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change by Preventing Water Loss Project" within the EU Projects Department of the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association.

The coordinator will be responsible for management of the project according to rules and procedures, implementation of activities according to plan and administrative reporting. She/He will also follow PRAG rules & procedures for any purchasing within the project time.

This is a full-time position for 15 months.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in chemicals, chemical engineering, mining engineering or other related fields.
• Training on sustainability and/or climate change.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with PRAG Rules & Procedures.
• Familiarity with the Sustainable Development Goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Turkish and English).

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in project management, coordination and documentation.
• Proven administrative and financial reporting experience.
• Event organization and coordination.
• Budget planning and monitoring experience.
• Experience working with public institutions.
• Experience in the area of SMEs and productivity issues.
