Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a global technology leader specializing in power grids and energy solutions for sustainable development. Our client is looking for a GIS I&C Supervisor, who will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation, repair, and fault elimination of high-voltage systems. The candidate must uphold the business's commitment to quality assurance at construction sites, working closely with clients and project teams to meet deadlines and maintain cost-performance efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Supervision: Oversee the installation and commissioning of high-voltage systems, ensuring all work is completed to technical standards and independently performing installation and maintenance tasks.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to installation requirements and instructions, and enforce necessary accident prevention measures, particularly when working on live system components.
- Documentation and Reporting: Red-mark drawings or documents to reflect any changes or modifications made during installation. Issue non-conformance reports for any damage or missing equipment within the scope of supply.
- Coordination and Communication: Advise the sub-suppliers' installation superintendent on workforce planning and coordination to meet project schedules. Cooperate with the Project Manager to assess completed and outstanding work.
- Material Management: Inspect arriving materials for completeness and potential damage, coordinating material handling with sub-suppliers according to established procedures.
- Testing and Documentation: Supervise final installation and commissioning tests, and prepare installation completion documentation. Coordinate loop check activities and participate in site meetings as requested.
- Professional Competence: Execute all assigned tasks with competence and responsibility, embodying the company's core values of safety and integrity.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience with Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) preferred.
- Strong experience with SF6 gas handling; PGHV-CH GIS product knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
