Job Description
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Assist with Post-Contract BIM Management Plan for project and enforce to follow it.
Review models with the contractors and consultants in order to highlight if any design/ Construction issues.
Assist in managing the internal interface between projects (to ensure coordination among LDCs during the design stage for consistent leveling and grading, and to guarantee proper execution in the construction phase) and between districts (by coordinating with other District PMC BIM Managers).
Enforce reliability of the BIM Models information so that it is an accurate representation of as built construction.
Regularly audit, integration and validate information to ensure BIM model is robust and achieve DGCL requirement.
Manage quality and quantity model information.
Ensure the consultants or contractors delivered models have standardized properties and meet DGCL requirements.
Ensure LOIN delivered in the models are as per deliverables requirements of the relevant stage of the project.
Manage model updates.
Coordinate submission and exchange of Models
Provide clash detection.
Manage access rights.
Facilitate extracts & exports.
Support and participate in record lesson learned and sharing with the relative parties.
Support and participate in identify and classify any risks related to BIM and their mitigation strategy.
Participate in coordination meetings with BIM Manager and provide technical expertise to project team members.
Ensure the Hill International BIM management system is maintained and followed.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
