The Principal Engineer, Automation & Digitalization plays a crucial role in driving automation projects, enhancing digital workflows, and leveraging advanced analytics tools to optimize business processes in Engineering and Project Management Organization.

Client Details

My client is a major mining and minerals company in Saudi Arabia. They operate several large mining and processing plants across the Kingdom and is one of the world's fastest-growing mining companies, playing a key role in Saudi Arabia's industrialization and economic diversification.

Description
Lead the design, development, and implementation of digitalization and automation strategies to improve operational efficiencyDesign, develop, and implement automated systems and digital solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.Lead the implementation of Project Management system Contruent Enterprise and other project management tools, such as Unifier, Power BI to meet organizational requirements and enhance project management processes.Monitor and analyze the performance by using the automation and digitalization tools and identifying areas for improvement.


Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in Engineering & Project Management automation and digitalization, with a proven track record of successful project implementation.Preferred certifications include digitalization and automation qualifications.Strong expertise in automation tools used in projects.Proficiency in analytics tools and visualization tools such as Power BI, Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and data warehousing solutions.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex automated projects, with experience in project management methodologies and tools
