Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Planner Supervisor to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As a Planner Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling activities for our projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and on time. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor progress against these schedules. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project planning and scheduling, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation, critical path analysis, and milestone tracking.
  2. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to identify project requirements and constraints.
  3. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  4. Identify and analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Collaborate with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
  6. Implement and maintain project management tools and software.
  7. Train and mentor junior planners on best practices and procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and standards.
  10. Participate in project meetings and provide input on planning and scheduling matters.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  3. Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  8. Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
  9. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  10. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
