Job Description

Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers.

Product Demos

Demonstrate the most valuable features/attributes of the product/service and link them to the customer's key challenges.

Product Training

Help to prepare product training for specific technical areas following precedents and established procedures; run small training programs (or pieces of larger training programs) for specific areas using prepared content and working under the supervision of senior colleagues.

Key Account Management

Deliver specialized support and service for new and existing accounts in line with organizational policies and procedures. Respond to complex customer inquiries while helping senior colleagues manage and maintain customer relationships.

Information, Advice, and Guidance

Provide information, advice, support, and guidance to service users regarding complex issues and situations across a service area, and refer service users to other agencies and services, including those in the voluntary and community sector.

Information and Business Advice

Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others.

Sell Customer Propositions

Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.

Solutions Analysis

Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. Involves following procedures and precedents.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Data Collection and Analysis

Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.

Sales Pipeline and Forecast

Carry out routine sales pipeline and forecasting tasks according to established protocols.
