An instrumentation technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems. They work in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation, and healthcare. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in electronics and electrical systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

1. Performed testing and commissioning of DCS and SCADA systems, guaranteeing optimal system performance and integration  
2.  Installs, programs, inspects, troubleshoots, and adjusts electrical and mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and related information systems
3. Performs basic programming for utilities information systems; programs with ladder logic and relay logic; operates PLCs, RTUs and associated inputs/outputs; operates VFDs; performs telecommunications networking
4. Execute SAT-Sequences tests for assigned systems, producing required commissioning records.
5. Coordinate on-site day-to-day commissioning activities and outstanding issues with Construction, Operations, and the Commissioning team, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and standards
6. Prepare and complete required commissioning documentation, procedures, and test records
7. Plan, organize, and manage commissioning activities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient implementation within budget, on schedule, and according to engineering best practices
8. Lead and manage all pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities, including performance testing of systems and equipment packages, in alignment with the project execution strategy and schedule
