The Warehouse keeper controls his/her assigned materials, inventory and supplies. This position shall maintain optimal levels of materials, inventory, supplies in his/her assigned warehouse, and makes recommendations in order to reduce costs.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Fully responsible for the Store.
• Ensure that proper inventories are maintained and documented.
• Ensures issued materials are properly accounted and recorded.
• Execute periodic physical inventory counts
• Ensure correct and consistent stock count and tracking
• Implement Warehouse Department policies and procedures
• Execute established controls over his/her assigned warehouses
• Ensure proper inventory classification, coding, and storage
• Complete purchase orders to replenish inventory shortage
• Ensure materials, supplies, and inventory in accordance with the purchase orders
• Inform Department Head and follow agreed procedures in case of spoilage or obsolescence of any item
• Prepare a variety of routine and special reports as required
