Position Summary:

An Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems to improve efficiency and reduce human intervention in processes. This role involves working with various technologies to create automation solutions that meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Development: Create and maintain automated systems and processes, including software, hardware, and control systems.

- Programming and Scripting: Write and debug scripts and code for automation tools and systems.

- Testing and Implementation: Conduct thorough testing of automation systems to ensure reliability and effectiveness before deployment.

- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly monitor and maintain automated systems, promptly addressing any issues or malfunctions.

- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated systems, including user manuals and technical guides.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and engineering, to integrate automation solutions into existing workflows.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation to continuously improve systems and processes.

Qualifications: (PREFER SAUDI NATIONALS)

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. preferably from Yanbu or Jubail Technical College

- Experience: New Graduates or Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in a similar industry.

- Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Siemens or WinCC and also Python, Java, or C++; experience with automation tools and frameworks; strong problem-solving skills; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment:

- May involve both office and on-site work, depending on the automation projects.

- Requires adherence to safety protocols and standards, especially when dealing with industrial automation.

- Ability to Travel within Cities or outside KSA
