We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of the Occupational Safety Department to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in occupational safety and will be responsible for overseeing the safety programs and practices within our organization.

1. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations and standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and monitor compliance with safety protocols.
3. Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and best practices.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
5. Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement safety plans for new projects and initiatives.
6. Maintain records and documentation of safety inspections, incidents, and training programs.
7. Stay up to date with changes in occupational safety regulations and standards and make recommendations for improvements to our safety programs.
8. Manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of safety initiatives.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in occupational safety.
2. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
3. Professional certification in occupational safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST).
4. Strong knowledge of local and international occupational safety regulations and standards.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety procedures.
6. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and drive the successful implementation of safety initiatives.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate accidents and incidents and develop strategies for prevention.
8. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
