Description
* Lead and manage the estimation team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
* Develop and implement estimation strategies and processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
* Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimations.
* Review and validate subcontractors and to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
* Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and other relevant documentation.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to estimation practices and maintain competitiveness.
* Coordinate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.
* Monitor and evaluate estimation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Profile
The successful candidate will have strong experience within cost and estimation as it relates to project management within mixed use projects. Further experience required includes:
Bachelor's Degree and roughly 10 years' experience Track record of successful bidding and winning projectsAnalytical and problem solving skills
