Overview of the role:

The Fleet Operations Executive is responsible in ensuring that all finance, leasing and subscription contracts are running accordingly to set schedules, budget targets and contract requirements. Further to this will manage the relationship at all levels between the clients, assigned teams and its supporting functions within the business. This must be achieved in the most cost effective and efficient way as continuous improvement is the paramount in achieving the financial and operational targets.


What you will do:   

•   To be the first escalation point when Clients require assistance

•   Ensure there are sufficient resources – drivers, prepared vehicles and support services available for each shift 

•   Support to prepare vehicles and contracts for leasing and subscription to customer

•   Support the brand to onboard and deliver vehicles to customers

•   Maintain and manage vehicle fleet

•   Ensure the Customer Service Manager is aware of any challenges with staffing or routes requirements

•   Coordinate with PRO team for any legal requirements that enable day to day operations of the department

•   Monthly Fleet Reports 

•   Contract performance reports

•   Special Passes for Vehicles and drivers 

•   Unknown Damage & HSE – Documented Communication with Hertz Support Services

•   Document Traffic Fines violations by the team

•   Training, Coaching & Disciplinary reports

•   Prepare monthly summary of invoices, and outstanding amounts

•   Run unknown damage reports along with Maintenance team and reduce the amount of money lost due to unknown damages 

•   Provide regular updates to Customer Service Manager and Senior Management Team, regarding potential cost saving or efficiency improvements

•   Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to ensure Customer satisfaction.

•   Deal with all escalated customer complaints as per the agreed process

•   Carry out bi-monthly personal development sessions with each member of staff

•   Attend and lead regular operational and team meetings

•   Maintain and develop relationship within the business

•   Hold monthly meetings with the driver pool
