This is a Contract position, based at the NEOM Green Hydrogen Elements (GHE) Project Site location, working a 8 x 2 weeks’ rotational assignment. The project is being executed by the AIR PRODUCTS NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP) – Green Hydrogen Elements (GHE) Project execution team and is expected to last approximately 48 months.

The incumbent is responsible for supporting and supervising the implementation of any construction equipment and tool related EH&S requirements as defined in the project EH&S plans & procedures, incl. all AIR PRODUCTS, Contractor and supplier representatives’ equipment and tools. It is AIR PRODUCTS’ objective to achieve highest standards and performance levels during the execution of all project related activities, which includes the use of safety, properly services, maintained and inspected/certified equipment. The incumbent will work closely with the Contractor organizations and their assigned equipment inspectors and reports to the EH&S Manager.

The incumbent is expected to have detailed knowledge of EH&S requirements and best practices related to equipment management and extensive work experience in this area.

III, NATURE AND SCOPE

• Description: Green Hydrogen Element of NEOM Green Hydrogen Project is a processing facility that will extract hydrogen from water with the use of wind and solar energy and ultimately produce green ammonia.
• Project Location: NEOM Green Hydrogen, Northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, near Duba town.

V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

1)  Support the full implementation of the project EH&S plan

2)  Oversight of the overall project equipment inspection process (cranes, mobile construction equipment, tools etc.)

3)  Define the detailed project construction equipment inspection plans & procedures incl. pre-mobilization/pre-use and periodic inspection programs and any supporting tools and documents required

4)  Ensure defined processes are understood, audited, reviewed and continuously improved

5)  Establish a program of inspections and audits in accountable area

6)  Monitor adherence to defined plans & procedures

7)  Monitor and coach Contractor organization incl. inspectors and organize trainings as needed

8)  Promote the development of a ‘Total Safety Culture’

7)  Support incident investigations in accountable area

8)  Cooperate closely with client and contractor organizations
