Job Summary

 Provides quality care to paediatric cardiac critical care patients. Provides direct supervision and serves as a resource to other members of the team as allocated. Takes charge of the unit in the absence of the Charge Nurse.

Education/Licensure

• Essential:  Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing, minimum 3 years duration (Western, Saudi, Malaysia, South Africa) or Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre Diploma Program (Saudi).
• Bachelor Degree of Nursing (Filipino andEastern Europe ).
• Essential:  Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee’s country of origin.
• Essential:  License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialities.
• Essential:  BLS and PALS certifications.
• Desirable: Post graduate qualification in Paediatric or Cardiac Nursing.

Professional Experience

•  Essential:  Three (3) years recent nursing experience, of which one (1) year must be in paediatric cardiology or cardiac surgery.
