Duties and Responsibilities

1 Performs routine radiographic examinations according to agreed policies and procedures.

2 Performs or assist with specialist radiological procedures under the supervision of more senior staff or a Radiologist.

3 Ensures the safety of patients under their direct control.

4 Is responsible for the safety of themselves and of other with regards to hazards within the work environment such as radiation. The directions and instructions for this is set down by the departmental policy and procedures guidelines.

5 Maintains a current working knowledge in all areas of work that they are required to participate in.

6 Participates in in-service education and training programs when asked to do so.

7 Performs other appropriate tasks and duties that are assigned within the realms of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

8 The applicant should be willing to cross-train (if necessary) in other Specialist areas of radiographic imaging eg. CT Scanning, MRI and Angiography.

9 Observes all agreed Policies and Procedures of the department of the hospital

10 Reports all unusual events or occurrences and equipment malfunctions to his Senior Radiographer

11 Participate in the out of hours on-call rota

12 To participate in stock inventory ensuring adequate level storage and utilization

13 Is required to have working knowledge of all clerical and administrative systems within the department

1 يقوم بإجراء فحوصات شعاعية روتينية وفقًا للسياسات والإجراءات المتفق عليها.

2 يؤدي أو يساعد في الإجراءات الإشعاعية المتخصصة تحت إشراف المزيد من كبار الموظفين أو أخصائي الأشعة.

3 يضمن سلامة المرضى الخاضعين لسيطرتهم المباشرة.

4 مسؤول عن سلامة أنفسهم والآخرين فيما يتعلق بالمخاطر داخل بيئة العمل مثل الإشعاع. يتم تحديد التوجيهات والتعليمات الخاصة بذلك من خلال إرشادات سياسة وإجراءات القسم.

5 يحافظ على معرفة عملية حالية في جميع مجالات العمل التي يطلب منهم المشاركة فيها.

6 يشارك في برامج التعليم والتدريب أثناء الخدمة عندما يُطلب منك ذلك.

7 يؤدي المهام والواجبات المناسبة الأخرى التي يتم تكليفه بها في مجالات معارفه ومهاراته وقدراته.

8 يجب أن يكون مقدم الطلب على استعداد للتدريب المتقاطع (إذا لزم الأمر) في المجالات المتخصصة الأخرى للتصوير الشعاعي على سبيل المثال. التصوير المقطعي والتصوير بالرنين المغناطيسي وتصوير الأوعية الدموية.

9 يلاحظ جميع السياسات والإجراءات المتفق عليها لقسم المستشفى

10 يُبلغ عن جميع الأحداث أو الوقائع غير العادية وأعطال المعدات إلى كبير فني الأشعة

11 شارك في روتا خارج ساعات العمل عند الطلب

12 للمشاركة في جرد المخزون ضمان مستوى كاف من التخزين والاستخدام

13 مطلوب أن يكون لديه معرفة عملية بجميع النظم الكتابية والإدارية داخل القسم.
