Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender and Proposal Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities to submitting high-quality proposals that align with the company's strategic objectives. This role requires a professional who can coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with bid requirements, and deliver winning proposals on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tender Identification and Evaluation:

    • Monitor various sources to identify new tender opportunities.
    • Evaluate potential tenders and make recommendations on bid/no-bid decisions.
  2. Proposal Development:

    • Lead and manage the entire proposal development process.
    • Develop comprehensive and compelling proposals that meet client requirements.
    • Ensure all proposal content is accurate, compliant, and tailored to the client's needs.
  3. Cross-Functional Coordination:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and technical departments, to gather necessary information and inputs.
    • Facilitate proposal review meetings and ensure timely feedback and approvals.
  4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements and internal standards.
    • Conduct final quality checks to ensure proposals are accurate and professionally presented.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of all tenders, proposals, and related documentation.
    • Prepare regular reports on tender activity and outcomes for senior management.
  6. Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Provide post-submission support and address any client queries or requests for additional information.
