Prepare food recipes according to the standard recipes in the outlet manual. Follow the daily food hygiene check points. Assist with collecting the food requisitions from the kitchen / central kitchen as directed. Prepare check & taste the food before the service if required in the absence of a Commis I. Minimize waste of all food items. Report if stock is low or item are missing. Experienced Commis I from fine dining or luxury restaurants.
Providing all support for the daily operation of an assigned area to run smoothly and effectively in accordance with departmental set service standards and meeting guest expectations at all times. Ensuring the mise en place for the assigned section is ready in time as instructed by the Chef.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen at all time. Cleans and arrange working area before leaving. Maintain all kitchen equipment and plate wear. Completely understands and adheres to the Company's policy relating to fire, hygiene and safety.
