The Applied Research, Innovation and Economic Development Directorate is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordinator. Reporting to the head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the incumbent will be in charge of promoting the University's incubator program fostering the growth of startup ventures, innovative projects and entrepreneurial initiatives within the University's ecosystem.
Duties & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will collaborate with various Business Units, including Marketing and Communications Directorate, Facilities Management Division and Academic Colleges to ensure startups vision and objectives are consistently met.
She/he will serve as a focal point for execution of various tasks, including setting schedules, performing logistics, streamlining processes and facilitating their coordinated and efficient completion.
The ideal candidate will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain content for presentations, pitches and promotional materials ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the target audience while effectively highlighting incubator's offerings and successes.
The successful candidate will support in organizing training programs, forums and seminars on entrepreneurship, innovation and startup-related topics, creating a sense of community among incubator program participants, mentors and alumni while facilitating knowledge exchange, networking opportunities and collaborative initiatives within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will need to Collect and analyse data on progress evaluation and success of incubator participants and provide regular reports to university stakeholders.
She/he will need to Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications Directorate to ensure comprehensive documentation and effective promotion of our incubator's activities, events and achievements on suitable platforms.
The ideal candidate needs to keep abreast of emerging trends and propose innovative methods for maintaining an online presence to promote the incubator program through various channels, including social media, University events and community outreach.
