Are you an experienced and qualified Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer? Tearfund Eurasia and North Africa has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified MEAL Officer to support our programmes in Iraq. The MEAL Officer will provide technical support in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning across operations in Iraq, specifically covering Erbil and Basra.
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer is responsible for leading and implementing in country project monitoring and data collection as well as technical input and support in managing the MEAL components of the Iraq programme and projects. Working under the guidance of the Programme Quality Director (PQD) and Regional MEAL unit, the position holder will work with regional and project team members to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, desired outcomes and progress towards impact according to the project design, donor guidelines and law of the land. Travel to and within multiple Governorates in Iraq (KRI and GOI) will be required.
