The Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to supporting survivors of human rights violations through a comprehensive and holistic approach. The Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is currently inviting qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Project Coordinator Assistant—one for each location: Ninawa, Anbar, Baghdad, Najaf, and Basrah.
Reports to: Project Manager, Director of Operations
Required Degree: University degree in psychology/counseling or related areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement
Support the Project Manager in the overall coordination and implementation of project activities.
Maintain regular communication with project staff, partners, local authorities, community representatives, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
Support coordination and communication with project partners and relevant network entities.
Assist in organizing and participating in project meetings, coordination meetings, workshops, conferences, and other relevant events.
Provide regular updates to the project manager on project activities, progress, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
Represent the project in relevant meetings and activities when requested by the project manager.
Monitoring and Information Management
Collect and compile information from project teams regarding activities, implementation progress, achievements, and challenges.
Support the Project Manager in maintaining and updating project tracking systems and databases.
Assist in monitoring project activities and progress against planned targets, indicators, and timelines.
Collect, organize, and verify project data and supporting documentation.
Identify delays, gaps, or challenges in project implementation and report them to the project manager.
Support the preparation of internal project updates and monitoring summaries.
Reporting
Assist the project manager in collecting and verifying information required for donors and internal reports.
Compile project activity information and prepare draft progress updates for review by the project coordinator.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and other project reports as required.
Ensure that project information and supporting documents are provided according to reporting deadlines.
Maintain organized records of project activities, achievements, challenges, and relevant documentation.
Administrative and Networking Support
Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day administrative and coordination needs of the project.
Assist in planning and organizing project meetings, workshops, training, and other project-related events.
Support communication and relationship-building with project partners and stakeholders.
Participate in relevant coordination and networking meetings when requested.
Support networking activities and communication with potential partners and stakeholders.
Share relevant project information, statistics, photographs, videos, and other communication materials with the PR department in coordination with the project manager and DoO.
Perform other project-related duties assigned by the project manager or DoO.
REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in Arabic and English.
University degree in related areas.
Ability to travel, including multi-day trips both nationally and internationally
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, cooperate with other staff members, centers, and external partners
Active interest in promoting human rights and social justice

Paid holidays (24 days for full-time position) plus 15 statutory holidays. Additional paid holidays, especially on the occasion of religious festivals, may be agreed upon
