Your Guide to Joining the Work-Based Learning (WBL) Programme Empowering Young Women and Men Through Skills and Decent Work
Dear Applicant,
The Work-Based Learning Programme gives you the chance to build practical, market-relevant skills inside real enterprises (business) - not in a classroom.
You will:

? Locations: Erbil, Dohuk, and Ninewa governorates.
⏱️ Duration: 20–40 training days, depending on the occupation.
✅ Support: Daily transportation allowance provided for days attended (subject to programme guidelines).
? Cost: Completely free of charge.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
We design the programme to be fair, inclusive, and impactful. You are welcome to apply if you meet the basic criteria below.
You are a Job seeker: only job seekers will be accepted in the program, registered individuals in the DOLSA database (Jobseekers portal)will be prioritized, you can register now to be eligible.

Education: All levels are welcome, from no formal education to university degrees.

Eligible Locations
You must currently live in one of the following areas:
Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI)
Ninewa Governorate
Please clearly indicate your governorate, district, and neighbourhood on the application form.

You may choose up to three (3) occupations/ Training Programme. Training is tailored to local labour market needs and the availability of host enterprises.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by phone or WhatsApp for interview with technical committees where final selection will be taken.
