The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the consultative design, planning, and (re)construction of community infrastructure under the project. The role will ensure that infrastructure interventions are technically sound, community-driven, conflict-sensitive, and aligned with project objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the assessment, design, and supervision of community infrastructure projects.
- Ensure community participation and consultation throughout the planning and implementation process.
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
- Monitor construction and rehabilitation works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, local authorities, community groups, and project teams.
- Ensure infrastructure activities are inclusive, conflict-sensitive, and responsive to community needs
