Context/Reporting line:
Under the general guidance of the Program Coordinator, the overall supervision of the Project officer (CCCM), the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO), and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Assistant (CCCM), the successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties:
Core Functions / Responsibilities
- Assist participants in learning new skills and steps to develop them.
- Assist in creating simple schedules for activities, showing the order of learning steps.
- Assist during activities to ensure everyone is comfortable and engaged.
- Assist in making basic weekly plans for activities...
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the community center Team leader.
- Ensure that confidentiality and the right to privacy are maintained about confidential information.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Highschool completion with two years of relevant experience, or;
- Primary school completion with 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people including people of culturally diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, and, especially, youth.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a gym trainer, fitness instructor, or in a related fitness role.
- Experience in developing personalized workout programs and monitoring Participants’ progress is an advantage. Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people including people of culturally diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, and, especially, youth.
- Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardio training, and safe use of gym equipment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
Languages:
- Fluency in Arabic is required (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of any other langue is an advantage.
