LOGISTIC SUPERVISOR (level 6) – Daily Worker

Main purpose of the position

Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.

Main responsibilities

• Team Supervision: design, implement, and monitor the monthly rosters for drivers and watchmen, for Office and House, supervise and evaluate the performance of the watchmen and drivers, ensure watchmen strictly follow MSF visitor entry protocols and maintain professional conduct at all gates and facility entrances.
• Facility Safety & Security: manage the maintenance and daily functionality of the security system and physical security barriers.
• Oversee the maintenance of communication equipment including Iridium and Satellite phones.
• Fire Safety: Act as the focal point for fire-fighting equipment (extinguishers/detectors); conduct regular drills and ensure all staff in Erbil facilities are trained on evacuation plans.
• Technical Maintenance & Energy: supervise all electrical installations and energy systems (generators, (solar setups), or city power connections).
• Asset Control & Maintenance: Maintain an updated equipment list for all IT and logistics assets (computers, phones, etc..); manage the sign-in/out tracker for equipment and ensure regular preventive maintenance of all facility devices were needed.
• Technical Orders: Participate in the planning of logistics orders by linking actual consumption of maintenance materials with planned activities to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Rehabilitation & Setup: Lead small-scale construction and house rehabilitation projects.
• Follow the Preventive Maintenance Plan and Job Request (JR) system for Office and House
• Utilize GIS or mapping tools where required to document facility layouts, evacuation routes, or project locations within the Erbil/Kurdistan mission.
