Job Description

Dijla Agricultural Association (DAA) is an independent non-governmental organization based in Mosul, Iraq. Established in 2012, DAA has grown into a multi-sectoral organization that works across agriculture, environment, WASH, business development, and social cohesion. Through this diverse portfolio, DAA aims to enhance community resilience and promote sustainable development across Iraq. DAA now implements programs that address environmental protection, climate resilience, clean water and sanitation, and small business development to strengthen local economies. The organization also leads social cohesion and community engagement initiatives, creating safe spaces for dialogue, supporting vulnerable groups, and fostering peaceful coexistence. DAA operates in several Iraqi governorates, including Nineveh, Dohuk, Kirkuk, Hilla, and Anbar, delivering projects that support internally displaced persons, returnees, and host communities. These interventions aim to reduce unemployment, improve living standards, and contribute to overall socio-economic stability. Job Description:

  • Supply and install the QuickBooks financial system.
  • Provide full access to all system features and functionalities.
  • Ensure proper system configuration tailored to DAA’s financial operations.
  • Provide one-year system activation (license).
  • Deliver technical support and maintenance services throughout the contract period.
  • Ensure system updates, troubleshooting, and continuous functionality.
  • Design and deliver a dedicated in-person training program for DAA’s finance staff.
  • Provide online follow-up support after the training period.
  • Duration of online support: (to be specified, e.g., 3 months).
  • Offer continuous guidance to ensure proper system utilization.
  • Fully operational QuickBooks system.
  • One-year licensed and maintained system.
  • Completed in-person training sessions.
  • Training materials and user guides.
  • Online technical and functional support.

 



  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in financial systems implementation, preferably QuickBooks.
  • Strong technical expertise in QuickBooks setup, customization, and reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial management processes.
  • Experience working with NGOs/INGOs or similar organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective in-person training and develop training materials.
  • Capacity to provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Qualified team including a finance professional and (preferably) a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
  • Fluency in Arabic and good working knowledge of English.
