Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI)
Action for Humanity invites qualified individual consultants and service providers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for inclusion in a Field Monitoring and Independent Verification Roster.
The roster will support potential donor-funded humanitarian and development programs, including emergency response, relief distribution, and recovery initiatives. Engagements will occur only if projects are funded and operationally approved.
Roster members may be contracted on a short-term assignment basis to support independent monitoring, verification, data collection, and compliance oversight of project activities.
The objective of this call is to establish a pre-qualified pool of field monitoring consultants capable of conducting independent third-party monitoring and verification activities in project implementation areas.
Assignments may involve monitoring activities implemented by NGOs, contractors, or local partners to ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with donor requirements.
Scope of Work
Depending on assignment requirements, Field Monitors may be responsible for:
Conducting field visits and site inspections of project activities.
Verifying beneficiary lists and participation records.
Monitoring distribution activities, including:
Non-Food Item (NFI) distributions
Hygiene kit distributions
Relief assistance distributions
Observing distribution processes to ensure transparency and fairness.
Verifying receipt of assistance by intended beneficiaries.
Monitoring project progress, outputs, and service delivery.
Collecting quantitative and qualitative data using digital data tools.
Capturing geo-tagged photographs and GPS coordinates of project sites.
Conducting beneficiary interviews, household surveys, or focus group discussions.
Identifying implementation risks, gaps, or irregularities.
Documenting field observations and findings in structured monitoring reports.
Submitting timely and accurate monitoring documentation.

Monitoring assignments may cover projects in sectors including:
Non-Food Item (NFI) distribution programs
Hygiene kit distribution programs
Emergency relief and humanitarian assistance
Food security and food distribution programs
Cash assistance programs
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs
Health programs
Contracting Arrangements
Selected applicants will be included in a consultant roster and may be contacted for assignments based on project needs.

Assignments are subject to donor funding and operational requirements.
Contracts may be issued on a daily rate or assignment-based payment structure
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:
Engineering
Social Sciences
Development Studies
Public Health
Agriculture
Economics
Monitoring & Evaluation
Other related disciplines
Additional requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant field experience.
Experience with NGOs, UN agencies, donor-funded projects, or humanitarian operations.
Experience monitoring distribution activities such as NFI or hygiene kit distributions is an advantage.
Ability to conduct field monitoring assignments independently.
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
