The volunteer will support the implementation of the Back to School Program activities through participation in community awareness campaigns, registration of out-of-school children, and follow-up to ensure their reintegration into the educational process. The volunteer will also contribute to other project activities such as trainings, workshops, and community events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of education and the need for children to return to school.
Collect data and information on out-of-school children in coordination with schools and local communities.
Support the registration process of out-of-school children and refer them to appropriate schools.
Follow up on the cases of enrolled children to ensure their continued attendance.
Assist in implementing other project activities (trainings, awareness sessions, community events, etc.).
Prepare simple reports on the activities carried out and submit them to the direct supervisor.
Adhere to the organization’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct during all assignments.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of secondary school certificate (university degree preferred).
Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with local communities.
Previous experience in volunteer or community work is an asset.
Commitment, initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.
