The Field Researcher will gather qualitative and quantitative data from various stakeholders in Hawija district , Kirkuk .
The daily rate is 150 USD/day.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
Conduct interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with targeted stakeholders, including:
Hawija Industrial Area Labour Union
Department of Electricity
Municipality Department
Department of Labour and Social Affairs (DoLSA)
Department of Mine Action
NGO Coordinator
Mayor’s Office
Families.
Data Collection:
Gather information on project involvement, selection criteria, communication methods, and stakeholder assessments of project outcomes.
Investigate the alignment of projects with the needs of affected communities.
Group Research:
Organize and facilitate FGDs with families.
Conduct field visits to shops, facilities, and other relevant locations to observe and verify conditions and agreements.
Track and document stakeholders' and beneficiaries' feedbacks.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
Bachlor or Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in field research, community engagement, or stakeholder assessments.
Proven track record in conducting interviews, FGDs, and KIIs in post-conflict settings is desirable.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
Ability to manage sensitive information and approach topics with cultural and emotional sensitivity.
Fluency in Arabic is required; proficiency in English is an asset.
