Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and coordinating medical city-wide the preparation, maintenance and updating of job descriptions and job salaries within the Hospital.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and utilization of the Human Resources System.
  • Assist managers to clarify and improve job design, career ladders, generic functions, position qualifications and other aspects of organization structures.
  • Assist department heads with the development of their organization and staffing level.
  • Assist in reviewing position qualifications and licensure requirements for compliance with Kingdom and Hospital guidelines.
  • Assist in analyzing positions relative to both internal and external factors to ensure proper placement in the grade structure.
  • Assist in reviewing salaries, grades, salary tables and other benefits.
  • Assist in sourcing and managing market intelligence for remuneration practices to ensure Hospital asserts itself in a leading edge role.
  • Assist department heads with the development of their organization and staff levels.
  • Attend meetings as required and participate on committees as requested.
  • Support the department and organizational management in identifying skills and performance gaps and other employee developmental needs, conducting needs assessments and making recommendations to address identified needs.
  • Assist the Senior HR Specialist in developing, delivering, maintaining internal training and professional development models, forms and policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Chief and Senior HR Specialist in HR related projection in coordination with internal and external departments.
  • Coordinate in identifying current and future manpower requirements and recommend long and short term staffing plan taking into consideration projected growth and comparison of various functions/departments.
  • Work as a team member to update/review staffing planning in a periodic basis.
  • Keep abreast of global and national pay review and advise hospital of same.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
