- Lead a team of four enumerators, supporting gender-balanced deployment and safe access to different participant groups. Allocate daily assignments, routes and workloads against the approved fieldwork plan.
- Coordinate site access and visits with communities, local authorities, employers and the Project Coordinator. Organize transport, attendance and field schedules; assess safety before visits to kilns, construction sites and households.
- Support training and piloting. Ensure staff use approved questionnaires, household listing and screening procedures, sampling instructions and KoboToolbox/ODK forms; escalate proposed changes for technical approval.
- Oversee child, household and employer surveys. Conduct or facilitate focus group discussions, key informant interviews, case studies and structured observations when assigned and trained.
- Review submissions daily for completeness, consistency, skip errors and duplicates. Conduct approved spot-checks and back-checks, coach enumerators and track corrections without altering respondents' answers.
- Verify guardian consent and child assent, private interviews and voluntary participation. Stop activities that cause distress or create risk; immediately escalate protection concerns and activate the approved referral pathway through designated staff.
