Daily Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator

Aid Gate Organization (AGO) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Work-Based Learning (WBL)–TWG Coordinator in Erbil.

The WBL–TWG Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the effective implementation of Work-Based Learning activities by serving as the main coordination link between trainees, workplaces, vocational instructors, mentors, enterprises, local authorities, and the AGO project team.

The Coordinator will support the selection of suitable enterprises for WBL placements, develop training and placement plans, facilitate trainee placement, provide orientation, conduct regular workplace monitoring visits, and coordinate with instructors and mentors to assess trainee performance.

The role also includes resolving placement-related challenges, ensuring proper completion of WBL documentation and monitoring tools, participating in trainee assessments, providing regular updates to AGO, and contributing to Technical Working Group (TWG) meetings.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least one year of relevant experience in vocational training, education, livelihoods, or youth employment projects. Strong coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required, along with willingness to travel to field locations.

Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic, with a working knowledge of English, is considered an advantage.
