Field Coordinators (National position)

Aim of the position:

The objective of this position is to ensure effective field-level coordination and implementation of the project activities “InGrowth (Inclusive Work and Growth): Pathways for economic development and job inclusion (AICS 13100/01/0)” in the assigned governorate.

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of project activities at field level, ensuring timely execution in line with workplans, operational procedures, and quality standards.

The Field Coordinator will work in close coordination with the Project Assistant ensuring accurate data collection, proper documentation of activities, and continuous monitoring of results and implementation progress.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

The selected expert will be responsible for:

• Support the implementation of project activities in line with agreed workplans, ensuring smooth day-to-day operational delivery in coordination with the team;
• Follow instructions and guidance provided by the Project Manager and Project Assistant;
• Support logistical and organizational preparation of field activities, including venues, materials, participant mobilization, transport, and schedules;
• Support organization and implementation of vocational training activities, internships, job linkage activities, job fairs, and stakeholder meetings at field level;
• Ensure accurate completion of attendance sheets, surveys, and other monitoring tools;
• Collect data (baseline, endline, assessments, etc) and ensure they are up to date and entered on Activity Info
• Provide regular updates on field activities to the Project Assistant and flag any operational issues or challenges to the Project Manager and Project Assistant;
• Ensure timely transmission of information between beneficiaries, partners, and the central project team;
• Support smooth implementation of field missions conducted by the central team;
• Collect monitoring data in the field and ensure its timely and accurate entry into ActivityInfo;
• Perform other duties within area of responsibility, as requested by the supervisor.

Duty Station: 1 Field Coordinator for Governorate of Baghdad (Abu Ghraib and Shu’ala)/ 1 Field Coordinator for Qadissiya (Diwaniyah)/ 1 Field Coordinator for Thi Qar (Nassiriyah)

Reporting to (Counselor): Project Manager

Level: Mid Level

Salary: USD 1,155 – 1,200 net

Language: English (C1) and Arabic

Essential requirements:

• University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field support roles or project implementation
• Experience working with NGOs or development projects is an asset
• Familiarity with local communities and institutions in the target governorates

Required skills and experiences:

• Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills;

• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work with local communities and stakeholders;
• Basic computer skills (MS Office);
• Good command of English.
