Daily Service Contract
1. Purpose of Assignment
The Vocational Instructor – Nail Technician will be engaged to support the implementation of Work-Based Learning (WBL) activities within nail care and beauty services specialization, including planning, supporting, monitoring, and evaluating the WBL process, in line with the roles defined below.
2. Key Responsibilities
The Vocational Instructor will:
- Design work processes and convert them into occupational profiles per enterprises.
- Agree with the WBL Coordinator and the In-Company Trainer on the list of competencies of the WBL.
- Support in selecting and profiling the trainees.
- Prepare WBL training plans with the In-Company Trainer.
- Guide the trainees before and during the WBL.
- Support and train the In-Company Trainer in selecting appropriate learning methods in workplaces.
- Plan, organize and deliver nail care practical sessions within the framework of the WBL.
- Communicate with partner enterprises to ensure coordination between off-the-job and on-the-job training.
- Follow up on trainees’ learning progress and ensure completion of assessment forms.
- Identify skills gaps and propose corrective actions with the In-Company Trainer.
- Provide additional support to trainees facing learning difficulties or other challenges.
- Conduct final assessments jointly with the In-Company Trainer.
- Train the In-company trainers on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and workplace practices (if applicable).
- Participate in evaluating the WBL with the technical working group.
3. Duration & Modality
- Engagement on a daily service basis.
- Duration: During 6 months.
4. Reporting
Reports to:
- WBL Coordinator
- Project Officer
Qualifications & Experience
The Vocational Instructor should meet the following qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or certified vocational qualification in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical and/or training experience in the related occupation.
- Previous experience in vocational training, coaching, or Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with trainees, enterprises, and project teams.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and workplace practices.
- Ability to prepare training plans, assessments, and progress follow-up tools.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
