The Iraqi Institution for Development (IID) is an independent, non-profit organization working in development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian response across Iraq. IID supports vulnerable communities through integrated programs in livelihoods, MHPSS, and social cohesion.
IID is seeking qualified and motivated Livelihoods Assistants / Facilitators (Pending Donor Approval) to support the implementation of livelihood and economic empowerment activities at the field level. The role focuses on training support, beneficiary follow-up, and coordination with communities.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
2–4 years of experience in livelihoods, training, or community-based programs
Experience working with NGOs or development projects
Basic understanding of livelihood and economic empowerment programs
Experience in vocational training or business support activities
Understanding of local markets and community needs
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Ability to work with vulnerable communities
Good organizational and reporting skills
Ability to work under pressure
Fluency in Arabic (required)
Basic English skills (preferred)
