The Iraqi Institution for Development (IID) is an independent, non-profit organization working in development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian response across Iraq. IID focuses on supporting vulnerable communities through integrated programs in livelihoods, MHPSS, education, and social cohesion.
IID is seeking qualified and motivated MHPSS Facilitators – Baaj (Pending Donor Approval) to support the delivery of psychosocial support services at the community level. The role focuses on facilitating group sessions, awareness activities, and supporting individuals in need.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
2–4 years of experience in MHPSS or community-based programs
Experience working with vulnerable populations
Basic knowledge of MHPSS and psychosocial support approaches
Understanding of community engagement and facilitation techniques
Knowledge of protection and safeguarding principles
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Ability to work with diverse groups
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Fluency in Arabic (required)
Basic English skills (preferred)
