The job description facilitates the recruitment process by stating the necessary competencies. It is mandatory for all positions.

Brief presentation of the project:

NRC aims to contribute to inclusive growth and job creation for Iraqi citizens, particularly youth, women, and vulnerable farmers. It seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Iraq's agribusiness value chain while improving the country's trade policy and supporting its WTO accession process.

NRC will pursue JOBS’s objectives through two expected results (ERs):

  • ER 3: Strengthened competitiveness of micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in priority sectors.
  • ER 4: Enhanced self-reliance and durable solutions for displaced populations and other vulnerable groups, particularly women and youth.

Project activities, including training and agri-business alliance building, TVET, Youth entrepreneurship, skills development, Capacity strengthening in key institutions, among other forms of intervention, directly benefit farms, firms and support institutions active in agribusiness and trade policy. In particular, project participants include the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) associated with agriculture and agribusiness value chains, farmers’ groups and producers’ organizations, trade support institutions, private sector and industry associations, and entrepreneurship hubs and women and youth associations.
