The Community Mobilizer will support in implementing project activities related to education and protection at the community level. The role involves direct engagement with communities, children, parents, schools, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of activities, effective follow-up, and timely referrals.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the Education Officer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Education, Community Development, Psychology, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in community mobilization, education, child protection, or humanitarian projects.
Knowledge of local communities, culture, and social dynamics in Baghdad and surrounding areas.
Familiarity with education and child protection systems, including out-of-school children (OOSC) programmes.
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, teachers, and community leaders.
Experience in organizing community meetings, trainings, or awareness sessions.
Ability to collect, update, and manage data accurately, including using digital tools or systems (e.g., Waliku).
Understanding of child safeguarding principles and confidentiality requirements.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to handle sensitive cases and community challenges.
Teamwork and collaboration skills, with flexibility to work in dynamic and challenging environments.
Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken; knowledge of English is an advantage.
