Local Trainer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing and holding training courses for beneficiaries according to a prepared plan, alternating between literacy lessons and ( Arabic/ Kurdish/English/ Turkish) lessons.
• Provide course material to participants.
• Identification of curricula relevant to specific age groups/level and providing relevant technical inputs.
• Ensure that the lessons are planned and delivered in a highly participative and interactive.
• Ensure that the training schedule is consistent with the contract and class schedule.
• Participate in the regular meeting with the team when required.
• Adaptation to the local context Methodologies and techniques are fully understood.
• Preparation of documents during training sessions (attendance sheet, pre and post tests, …. etc.)
• Any other duties as requested by line manager.

TDH Italy is looking for 10 Local Trainer 4 in Faluuja, 2 in snuni, and 4 in sumel With following requirements:

 Requirements:

• Graduated from the college for the Department of (English / Arabic / Kurdish Language/ Turkish) is plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in teaching
• Ability to train people, facilitate trainings and build participants’ knowledge and skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic and Kurdish.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Very good computer skills
• Good communication and life skills
