Job Purpose

The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating Plant machinery, to assist the mechanic with servicing of the machine and fully responsible for daily and routine maintenance of the machine.

Reporting structure

The Plant Operator reports to the Mechanical Team Leader, and to the Mechanical supervisor in the MTL’s absence.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Operate their designated mechanical asset and others when requested
• Record all appropriate information provided by the machine
• Record fuel used and hours run
• Maintain precise records on the Log book, and monitor the machine’s service.
• Maintain the asset clean and well looked after.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly checks and maintenance of the machine.
• Assist the mechanic with any repairs to the machine, in both field and workshop.
• Report failures immediately to the Mechanical Team Leader.
• Follow up repairs with Mechanical Team leader and workshops.
• Operate as instructed and in line with MAG SOP’s.

General Responsibilities

• Work within the framework of MAG’s core values
• He/ She is expected to maintain a professional conduct in line with MAG’s core values since his/her actions represent MAG.
• Act as an ambassador for MAG
• Contribute to other fundraising initiatives where appropriate.
• Participate in meetings where relevant.
• Understand and uphold the standards outlined in MAG’s Safeguarding  Framework , acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with MAG’s work and reporting concerns if they do a rise
• Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programs.
• Undertake any other duties as may be required.

الغرض العام من الوظيفة:

سيكون مشغل الآليات مسؤولاً عن تشغيل آلات الخاصـة بالعمل في الميدان، ومساعدة الميكانيكي في صيانة الألة والمسؤولية الكاملة عن الصيانة اليومية والروتينية للماكينة.

هيكل التقارير:

يقدم مشغل الآليات تقاريره إلى قائد الفريق الميكانيكي، وإلى المشرف الميكانيكي في حالة غياب قائد الفريق الميكانيكي.

المسؤوليات التفصيلية:

• تشغيل الأصول الميكانيكية المخصصة لهم وغيرها عند الطلب
• تسجيل  جميع المعلومات المناسبة التي يوفرها الجهاز
• تسجيل  الوقود المستخدم وساعات التشغيل
• الحفاظ على السجلات الدقيقة في سجل التشغيل، ومراقبة خدمة الماكينة
• الحفاظ على الأصول نظيفة والعناية بها جيدًا
• إجراء فحوصات وصيانة يومية وأسبوعية وشهرية للماكينة
• مساعدة الميكانيكي في أي إصلاحات للآلة، سواء في الميدان أو في ورشة العمل
• يقوم بالإبلاغ عن الأعطال فورًا إلى قائد الفريق الميكانيكي
• متابعة الإصلاحات مع قائد الفريق الميكانيكي وورش العمل
• MAG العمل حسب التعليمات وبما يتماشى مع إجراءات التشغيل القياسية الخاصة بـ

المسؤوليات العامة

• MAG العمل ضمن إطار القيم الأساسية لـ

• فهم والالتزام بالمعايير الموضحة في إطار الحماية الخاص بمنظمة MAG، والتصرف بعناية واهتمام لضمان سلامة ورفاهية كل من يتعامل مع أعمال المنظمة، مع الإبلاغ عن أي مخاوف عند ظهورها.
• تنفيذ وتطبيق التعلم من برامج التدريب والتطوير المناسبة.
• القيام بأي مهام أخرى قد تطلب منه عند الحاجـة.

Person selection criteria

 The post holder should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• An understanding of NGOs and a commitment to humanitarian work.
• At least 4 years’ Experience of operating plant Machinery.
• An ability to read & write (English is advantage but not compulsory)
• A high level of self-motivation.
• Due to the dusty hot conditions that the machines will be working in, the applicants must be willing to work long hours in dusty sometimes uncomfortable conditions.
• A Valid Driving License for Plant Machinery (Category T), and is fully responsible for acquiring and renewing this license.
• Preferably, Trucks and Low Loader experience and a Valid License.
• Preferably, Welding experience.
• Preferably: Mechanical Background.

• بسبب الظروف الحارة المليئة بالغبار التي ستعمل فيها الآلات، يجب على المتقدمين أن يكونوا على استعداد للعمل لساعات طويلة في ظروف مغبرة وغير مريحة في بعض الأحيان.
• رخصة قيادة سارية المفعول لآليات المعدات الثقيلة (الفئة T)، ويكون مسؤولاً بالكامل عن الحصول على هذه الرخصة وتجديدها.
• يفضل أن يكون لديه خبرة في الشاحنات والرافعات المنخفضة ورخصة سارية المفعول.
• يفضل أن يكون لديه خبرة في مجال اللحام.
• يفضل   أن يكون لديه خلفية ميكانيكية.
